As
winter approaches we wanted to remind our
customers about Wade Sales and Services’ polices
regarding credit extended and emergency fuel
delivery. The Department of Transportation
(DOT) limits the amount of hours our drivers can
deliver fuel per day and the amount of
consecutive days which they can be on duty.
In the winter months our drivers typically
deliver fuel from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm and
7:30am – 12:00pm on Saturdays. These hours
are within DOT regulations. However, when we
are called out on emergency deliveries these
regulations get more difficult to manage. We
ask our customers to help us in complying with
these regulations by remembering the policies
listed below:
-
Keep Full Customers/Contract
Customers with current accounts are
always eligible for emergency fuel
delivery.
-
Will Call Customers with
current accounts will be eligible for
emergency delivery however a $75 fee will be
charged for the delivery.
-
Customers with accounts past due who have no
payment arrangements will not be
eligible for emergency fuel delivery.
Please assist us in
providing excellent service by keeping your
account current and by periodically checking the
level in your propane tank. Although, we do
spend a great deal of time tracking our
customers’ usage through computer programs the
program is susceptible to errors when there are
changes to your usage. For example, if you put
on an addition square, have additional family
members, go on vacation or change your
appliances these all affect how our system
tracks your needs. Thank you in advance for
your assistance and understanding on these
matters.
